At 5m resolution, PRISM-based elevation grids offer very fine detail, such as rock outcrops, roadcuts, and stream banks. PRISM scenes are 35x35 km, and data volumes for the digital grids are 80Mb/1000sqkm. These data are ideal for small- to moderate-sized regions of interest where terrain details are critical. Combined with the 2.5m imagery, it provides a highly accurate basemap for many applications.
